Terms of Service
Last updated October 21, 2026
1. Operator and acceptance
These terms are an agreement between you and Gx2 Studio SAS, a French SAS with a share capital of 100 €, registered under RCS Paris 954 090 536 (see the legal notice). By creating an account or using Clash of Meat, you accept these terms and the privacy policy.
2. Your account
You sign in with GitHub and may link an X account. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping those accounts secure. Usernames must not impersonate others, infringe rights, mislead players or contain abusive or unlawful content. Previous usernames stay reserved to prevent impersonation, and old profile links may redirect to your current one.
3. Coding activity
The companion you install sends Clash of Meat numbers only: token counts, usage limits and timestamps from the agents you connect. Your prompts, code and conversations stay on your computer. Imported history counts toward progression but not toward duels.
4. Fair play
Do not manipulate rankings or activity, automate abusive behaviour, exploit vulnerabilities, interfere with the service, harass other players or use Clash of Meat unlawfully. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect players or the service.
5. Tips
You may support the team with a voluntary tip through a Stripe-hosted payment page, which shows the amount and currency before you pay. Tips grant no gold, energy, heroes, chests, leaderboard points or any other gameplay benefit. Gold is earned through play only; it cannot be bought. Tips are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. Tips go to Gx2 Studio SAS, a company, not a charity: they are not donations and are not tax-deductible.
6. Sponsor runes
Sponsor runes are paid advertising placements sold to businesses only. By placing a bid, you confirm that you act on behalf of a company, in a professional capacity and not as a consumer. You provide the company or brand name, an HTTPS website link and a logo the company owns or is authorised to use; each payment comes with an invoice in the company's name. A rune shows your sponsorship only after your payment is confirmed, and keeps showing it until a higher qualifying paid bid replaces it.
When a higher bid replaces yours, or overtakes it while you are paying, your payment is refunded to the original payment method minus the processing fee Stripe charged us for it (including any currency conversion), which Stripe does not return; your payment history shows the exact amount, and your bank may take a few days to show it. Bids are in US dollars: $5 for an empty rune, then at least $1 above the current bid, up to $10,000.
Refunds for any other reason are full, including when we remove unlawful or infringing sponsor content or close a rune. Sponsorship is a payment for advertising, not a deposit or a wager, and gives no gameplay advantage.
7. Fictional characters
All heroes, bosses, guild crests and other characters in Clash of Meat are fictional. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or to real organisations is coincidental. Names and avatars that players choose for themselves are their own.
8. Availability and changes
Clash of Meat evolves, and features may change or end. We aim to run it reliably but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We give notice where required for material changes that affect paid placements or your consumer rights.
9. Closing your account
You can delete your account in Settings. It is hidden and disabled immediately, and you can restore it within 30 days by signing in with the same GitHub account. After that, deletion is permanent, except for records the law requires us to keep.
10. Responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer guarantees. To the extent the law allows, neither party is responsible for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the agreement began.
11. Law and disputes
French law governs these terms, without depriving consumers of the mandatory protections of their country of residence. Please contact us first at contact@gx2.studio so we can try to resolve a dispute; you may then use any remedy available under applicable law.
Sponsor runes are business-to-business sales: disputes about them that we cannot resolve together fall under the courts of Paris, France.
